i'm scarving!

this month, after being disappointed with my failed (and soon to be frogged) sweater (more on that later), i'm going back to my knitting roots. scarves! my mama is going to cali to visit my sis and uncles for the holidays (both southern and northern areas), and requested a little somethin'-somethin' to keep her neck warm in the cold christmas weather. so i found some nice yarn while i was in cali a couple weeks ago, and came out with this guy. the pattern name actually had the word "men's" in it, but i thought neutral-ish colors would make it ok for the ladies. i mostly liked it because this stitch kinda looked waffley. its cream color on both ends, and tan in the middle. like waffles and syrup! or maybe waffle cone and vanilla ice cream...mmmmm...waffle cone. i think i need to eat. ;o)

gorgeous scarf! well done, well done, woo, woo, woo (arm cranking like arsenio--old school yo!). what kind of yarn did you use and is that the pattern from last minute knitted gifts? poor poor frogged project, i'm sure it'll turn out fabulous.
